The Environmental Services Technician cleans and maintains assigned area(s) to meet customer and client satisfaction. This job cleans and services areas such as guest, patient, public, clinical, and administrative areas. Responsible for maintaining a clean and aseptic environment. Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by hospital location based on client requirements and business needs.

Provide full immunizations of the following vaccines: HEP B, Rubella, Mumps, Rubeola (Measles) and Varicella
Key Responsibilities:
Maintains assigned area in a clean and aseptic manner.
Adheres to established procedures to provide a safe working environment including complying with OSHA, state/local, federal, and Aramark regulations.
Maintains a clean and orderly environment to protect the safety and health of others.
Properly cleans and maintains housekeeping equipment.
Cleans assigned areas to Aramark and client standards and requirements.
Performs all types of floor care and maintenance throughout the facility, including hard surfaces and carpeting.
Follows procedures for storage and disposal of trash and transports it to designated areas.
Reports maintenance concerns via work order requests to appropriate personnel
Secures the facility, ensuring the building is locked/unlocked as required.
Ensures security of company assets
Other duties and tasks as assigned by the manager.
Qualifications:
Education: High School diploma or equivalent
Experience: Minimum of 1 year of custodial/housekeeping and/or relevant experience
Knowledge Skills and Abilities (KSAs):
Strong social skills.
Ability to read, write, and verbally communicate to follow instructions and perform tasks.
Basic knowledge of housekeeping, cleaning, and cleaning equipment/supplies.
Ability to work flexible schedule when needed.
Ability to actively listen, follow directions, and complete assigned tasks with little to no supervision.
Working Conditions:
Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling less than or greater than 50 lbs.
Must be able to follow basic safety procedures and precautions.
