Upper Atmosphere, a dynamic and innovative high-end retail business in New Orleans, is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to join our team. We offer a modern office environment, growth opportunities, and a chance to work with top designer brands and emerging global designers.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership:  Act as a critical leadership partner to the Store Manager, balancing front-of-house and back-of-house duties effectively.
  • Sales Leadership:  Take an active role on the selling floor to lead and inspire the sales team, setting and achieving store and team goals.
  • Business Analysis:  Analyze sales reports and data to understand business needs, set strategies, and create store business plans that drive sales and maximize opportunities.
  • Client and Employee Engagement:  Connect with employees and clients, build positive relationships within and outside the organization, and enhance brand recognition.
  • Training and Development:  Oversee and provide hands-on training to ensure alignment with company standards, and hold the team accountable for meeting brand, performance, and behavior standards.
  • Operational Excellence:  Evaluate store operations, audit internal controls, and manage the execution of business plans to meet sales targets and KPI results.
Qualifications:
  • Experience:  At least 2 years in customer service or a related field, with a strong background in retail operations and sales leadership.
  • Skills:  Proven ability to analyze business data, develop strategies, and manage store operations. Strong interpersonal skills and a knack for building relationships.
  • Availability:  Must be available for day shifts, including weekends. A reliable commute or willingness to relocate to New Orleans, LA is required.
